  1. PCSX2-CE for OS X (Wineskin port). I forgot to hook up my controller from my old Mac Pro so I'll need to configure that before I can get past the langauge.
  2. While back I had Windows XP running on a Dell laptop and was able to (after some hassles) get a PS3 controller working on it, with motion included.

How to Connect a Playstation 3 Controller to a Mac in OS X El Capitan, Yosemite & Mavericks.

Archived

Many users have been having issues using the Tattiebogle Xbox 360 controller driver on OS X 10.10 Yosemite. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the project, you can cheek it out here: http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver

If you have been having issues with the driver, here is how to get the driver working on Yosemite:

  1. Install the driver from the link above as normal

  2. Open Terminal and type the following command:

sudo nvram boot-args='kext-dev-mode=1'

3. Reboot your computer. When it's back up, open terminal again and type the following command all at once:

Pcsx2

sudo kextcache -m /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Extensions.mkext /System/Library/Extensions

Reboot again and your Xbox controller should be working!
