• SDHC & XP Compatibility Issues. Are you sure your card reader supports sdhc? I was unable to get my SDHC cards to work in it until I ran the XP SP3 upgrade.
• 4 GB SDHC card not opening in XP with SP3 loaded I have a built in card reader that has always run my SD cards fine - but now it is balky when I try to read a PNY 4GB SDHC card. I think it read it at one time but not recently. I have tried to download the hotfixes I found in the knowledge base but 2 of them are apparently older than SP3 and the.

I just purchased a camera and an 8GB SDHC memory card for it. Unfortunately when I plug it into my computer via USB I get the 'new hardware detected' wizard pop up which then fails to do anything.
I suspected it was because I didn't have the XP SDHC driver, but when I downloaded the hotfix from MS and tried to install it, it told me that I already had a more recent version.
If I put a 2GB SD card in the camera I can connect fine.
What can I do so that my computer can connect to the camera with the 8GB SDHC card?

I am always suspicious of free downloads but this was a treat to use. My new netbook is a MSI Wind U100 and the card reader just didnt work. When I saw this download I thought nothing in life is that simple But it was.
